Details: The annual QERA Junior camp will be held on Saturday 15th November at Yabba Creek Farm. The camp will include a range of theoretical and practical activities including human and horse nutrition, pole work, jumping and basic flat work. - Please see attached flyer for more information.

On Sunday 16th November the Dingo Creek Endurance club will hold a “No Frills” 20km & 40km ride.

Junior Camp attendees please nominate for the Saturday event and select what ride you would like to attend on the Sunday. This way we can confirm numbers. How to Nominate: Nominations available via AERA Space: Nominations for Junior Camp (Saturday Only) available under “Service Items”. This does not guarantee your spot for Sunday. If you would like to ride on Sunday you will need to nominate for your preferred ride 20km or 40km.

FAQ’s Who can attend QERA Junior Camp? The QERA Junior camp is for anyone 17 years and under. You do not need to be a member to attend.

Who can attend the DCE No Frills ride? The 20km and 40km are open to ALL riders. Junior camp members are encouraged to ride on Sunday, we will have pace setters for new riders.

Cost for Junior Camp: No cost for the Saturday camp. If you would like to ride in a 20km or 40km ride on Sunday you will need to pay a nomination fee and day membership, if you are not a QERA member.

I am a new rider and want to attend the 20km ride. What do I need? To ride on the Sunday you MUST arrive on the Saturday for nominations and pre-ride vetting. We encourage all new riders to sport.. If you are a new rider to the sport you will receive a dedicated mentor, ride pacer & strapping area, pre-event contact for help with packing and prep, guidance through nominations, vetting, ride out, strapping and final vet-in. We strongly encourage boots or shoes.BYO horse and yards.

Do I need to bring my own horse? Yes, you will need to bring your own horse and yards to the event.

Campground: Camping will be in a grassy paddock by the river. Basic portaloos and cold bush showers available. BYO hot water camping system. No fires. Dogs allowed but MUST be on leads at all time. Bags for horse manure. Leave the grounds as we found them.
