Toilets and showers available at base. No yards are available for booking. Please take your rubbish home with you. Phone coverage can be patchy. All camping, unless advised by the ROC is on the left hand side of the site, away from the arena.
Ride Office Open: Sat 18th 10:00 AM to Sun 19th 4:00 PM
Ride office will be open from 10am to 4pm Saturday. For competitors arriving on Sunday for the 20km ride, the office will be open from 6:30am.
Temperature Log: 4 day temperature logs required as per AERA's HHD form. 3 days prior to departing for the ride and the morning you travel to the ride.
Refund Policy: Full refund of nomination fee on request via AERA Online before Friday 17 October @ 8am
Event Information
KCER are looking forward to welcoming you to our first ride from the Urbenville Showgrounds. The ride times are Australian Eastern DaylightTime (AEDT).
Ride base opens on Friday 17th October from 2pm (AEDT). Do not arrive any earlier as we do not have permission to have you on site before this time. There are no powered campsites, but there are taps throughout the camping area to access water. All camping is to be on the left hand side of the showgrounds, away from the arena. No camping is permitted on the right hand side of the ride base as this is course access. All nominations inlcude a $5 camping fee, whether you are camping overnight, or just coming in for the 20km on Sunday morning.
BIOSECURITY: Please ensure you meet your biosecurity obligations for fire ants and ticks.
HAY PROVIDER: If you would like to order hay for the event that comes from a "clean zone" you can contact Michael Schofield on 0427105402. All orders must be in by Monday 13 October at 9am to ensure the hay will be there. If you order after that date there is no guarantee there will be hay available. You will need to arrange a pick-up time with Michael.
Catering by the Urbenville Bowls Club - to be confirmed. Coffee TBA if we can find a vendor Saturday evening meals at the Urbenville Bowls club can be pre-ordered with your ride nominations. You have a choice of two mains and two desserts. Details of this to be confirmed. Please support our caterers.
The ride will be VGIH for all events and a communal strapping area will be allocated near the arena. Please bring your timing tags, as there will be limited spares available.
Please remove all rubbish from camping areas.
There will be an updated map of the Urbenville showgrounds in the Event Forms after Monday13th October. This is the proposed layout of the ride base. These details will be confirmed after we have held our working bee at the grounds in the week before the ride.
