Event Information
SCENIC CITY STARTER. 20, 40 AND 80 KM RIDES ON SUNDAY 2 MARCH 2025. Ride base- Mount Stromlo Road, off Cotter Road, Stromlo ACT. Join us once again for our unique ride through the nation's capital. Late summer rain has brightened the scenery and softened the tracks. 80 km ride will be two legs of 40 km. Internediate ride will be 40 km and the second leg of the 80. Introductory ride will be 20 km following the 40 km course before turning back. All rides go up Mount Stromlo with spectacular views across Canberra on one side and to the Brindabella Mountains on the other. Vetting will be standard AERA with HR of 55 off leg 1 and for the shorter rides. Catering will be by Safari Munchies - a dinner menu wiill be available closer to the ride. Please nominate early so we know how many toilets and vets we need.
